Beth Williams grew up in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Huntingdon Area High School, Beth enrolled at Brandywine College, currently known as Widener University. She graduated in 1973 with an Associate's degree in Business Management / Retailing. Beth worked for twenty years in the marketing field and the last ten of those years were in computer sales. In pursuit of a counseling interest established in high school, Beth went back to college. Beth received a Bachelor's degree in Social Work under Advisors Robert Reilly and Susan Radis, Professors of Sociology at Juniata College. She was a Raymond R. Day Social Work Award recipient. Beth furthered her education by attaining a Master's of Social Work degree from Temple University. As of 2000, Beth has been a licensed social worker in the state of Pennsylvania and worked at Mainstream Counseling of Huntingdon as an Outpatient Drug & Alcohol Therapist / Prevention Specialist. Beth Williams is currently employed as the counselor for students at Juniata College. Ironically, Nurse Connie Peters of the Health and Wellness Center graduated with Beth from Huntingdon Area High School. They have been good friends since kindergarten. |
